MyKidsCloset.com is designed based on the users zip code.
This allows a person to search locally within 100 miles of their zip code.
It will also show you what is available nationally that people are willing to ship.

Search by date posted. Only want to see the latest items posted? Enter a date.
Search by Member ID. Have favorite sellers? Search their listings any time.
Search by Ad number. Enter ad number.

This tells you what is happening in your local community.
You can see how many visitors and registered members
we have on our site as well as what buyers are looking for.

Your Member ID is a unique name you choose to represent you on the site. If you are selling this is the name that is displayed to buyers. It's all part of our effort to protect your privacy by not displaying your e-mail address or other personal information.

You don't if you want to just browse. If you want to buy or sell it's required. We want to protect both parties if any problems between the buyer and seller occur as we can help resolve them.

This is not required but highly recommended. This makes transacting online so much easier and faster. Sellers get paid immediately so they can ship faster. Buyers get added protection on their purchases.

You must have a valid email to be a member of our site. This is how we communicate with you and also help you communicate with other members so your information is kept private.

We are only set up for the US and Canada. Currently international members can browse and buy or post and sell items. The only thing you can't yet do is search for products near you (based on your zip code). Use 99999 for your zip code and you should get good to go.

This is a sort of coupon code that discounts your ad fees. If you've received a promotional code, just enter it during the registration process to receive your special rate.

This is most important if you want to sell on MyKidsCloset.com. It is displayed in your member ranking area. If you're selling clothes, you can choose to share the date your children were born so buyers will know if the size and season will work for their baby.

Your ad will only show to people

It is a place to list items you are interested in purchasing
so you can come back later and contact the seller.

Certain sellers have opted for this and if you see a button in the ad that says BUY NOW you can purchase instantly. It does require a paypal account. This way you don't have to wait for a response from the seller and fear you will lose it to someone else. The seller will get an email from us telling them where to ship and what ad you purchased.

Ask a seller a question or give them your zip code so they can give you a total price if the product is national. If it's local arrange to meet. This email will be sent to the seller.

Click here to see all the ads a seller has posted. This is a great idea because buying more from one person reduces your drive time if the seller is local and your shipping costs of the seller is national.

You will only see sales tax on new products. It is not a requirement to pay taxes to private sellers.

A place where members rank each other based on performance. It's very important to keep a good ranking.

Each seller decides the policy they want to offer to buyers. This is very important if you have concern whatsoever on the quality and condition of the product you are buying.

The ads will display an estimated shipping costs but if your really interested contact the seller, provide your zip code and they can provide you with exact costs.
